Moin zusammen,
ich frage mich so langsam wo MSFT in diesem Jahr noch hinlaufen will. AI Hype, ja ich weiß.. da wird die Firma sehr profitieren können. Aber die Bewertung macht mir zunehmend sorgen. Und das sage ich mit dem Wissen, das MSFT in meinem Depot die mit Abstand größte Position ist. Ich liege jetzt bei über 17x mit der Aktie. Will nur sagen, bei dieser Bewertung würde ich nicht mehr kaufen, da muss das Unternehmen ersmal hinein wachsen. Verkaufen werde ich aber natürlich nix, auch nicht wenn MSFT unter 350 USD fallen sollte.

Vodafone VOD.L has agreed a 10-year partnership with Microsoft MSFT.O to bring generative AI, digital, enterprise and cloud services to more than 300 million businesses and consumers across its European and African markets. The British company will invest $1.5 billion in customer-focused AI developed with Microsoft's Azure OpenAI and Copilot technologies, it said, and will replace physical data centres with cheaper and scalable Azure cloud services.
Microsoft will in turn become an equity investor in Vodafone's managed IoT (Internet of Things) platform when it is spun out as a standalone business by April 2024, and help scale Vodafone's mobile financial platform in Africa.

USA wollen Lithium-Menge für Akkus mit KI deutlich reduzieren
RICHLAND/REDMOND (dpa-AFX) - Eine Forschungseinrichtung des US-Energieministeriums betreibt zusammen mit Microsoft ein Projekt, mit dem die Menge des Lithiums, das in einer wiederaufladbaren Batterie verwendet wird, um bis zu 70 Prozent reduziert werden könnte. Das teilten das Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) und der Softwarekonzern gemeinsam am Dienstag in Richland und Redmond im US-Bundesstaat Washington mit.Das Leichtmetall Lithium ist ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil von Lithium-Ionen-Batterien, die in Elektrofahrzeugen, Smartphones, Laptops und anderen und tragbaren Geräten verwendet werden. Die hohe Nachfrage insbesondere nach Elektrofahrzeugen hat Lithium zu einem der begehrtesten Rohstoffe weltweit gemacht.
Der Prototyp eines solchen neuartigen Akkus, der mit deutlich weniger Lithium auskommt, sei bereits entwickelt, teilten das PNNL und Microsoft weiter mit. Dafür sei mit Hilfe von Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) und dem Einsatz von Hochleistungsrechnern aus der Cloud-Plattform Azure Quantum Elements von Microsoft ein neues geeignetes Material identifiziert worden. Dieses Material habe das PNNL im Labor auch bereits künstlich herstellen können. "Es handelt sich um einen echten, funktionierenden Akku-Prototyp, der eine Glühbirne versorgen kann."

Stichwort CoPilot und bis zu 30 USD pro User und Monat. Davon dürften viele andere Firmen nur träumen... da die eher indirekt über Werbung Erlöse haben können, oder indirekt über die Cloud Kosten.
Absolut der gleichen Meinung. Microsoft ist mit Meta auch der mit Abstand größte Abnehmer von KI Chips. Kaufen rund doppelt so viele ein wie alphabet und amazon.
Microsoft bringt als Weltmarktführer der Office Suite auch Azure mit an den Tisch. Das kombiniert sich mit open ai zu einem Umsatzpotential das enorm wird. MS bleibt nach berkshire meine größte Einzelposition.
