GOGOLD RESOURCES INC. COMPLETES SALE OF SANTA GERTRUDIS PROJECT TO AGNICO EAGLE MINES LIMITED FOR US$80 MILLION
GoGold Resources Inc. has completed its previously announced sale to Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. of the Santa Gertrudis gold project, located in Sonora, Mexico.
Pursuant to the transaction the company received total cash consideration of $80-million (U.S.) (less a working capital adjustment of $379,978 (U.S.)) and was granted a 2-per-cent net smelter return royalty on the project, 50 per cent of which may be repurchased at any time for $7.5-million (U.S.). The company has applied the net proceeds of the transaction to repay in full the $46.5-million (U.S.) outstanding under its existing senior revolving credit facility with the Bank of Montreal, to repay the principal and interest on the $7.5-million (U.S.) subordinated secured term loan advanced by Agnico to the company and for general working capital purposes. Following the completion of the transaction the facility was terminated.
Brad Langille, president and chief executive officer of GoGold stated: "We are very pleased to complete this transaction with Agnico. We believe GoGold shareholders are well positioned to benefit from the future potential of Santa Gertrudis through our retained royalty. After this transaction GoGold will be debt free with a strong cash balance which positions the company well as the Parral tailings project ramps up to its full production potential, while also allowing us to continue to pursue further opportunities."

BMO Capital Markets acted as financial adviser to GoGold and Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP acted as GoGold's legal adviser. Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP acted as Agnico's legal adviser.

Leider ist dem nicht so! Gogold ist bei den Investoren anscheinend so in Ungnade gefallen, dass selbst positive Meldungen ignoriert werden.
Was könnte momentan den Kurs beflügeln?

GOGOLD REPORTS FOURTH QUARTER PRODUCTION INCREASE TO 353,370 SILVER EQUIVALENT OUNCES
GoGold Resources Inc. has released production for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2017, of 353,370 silver equivalent ounces at the Parral project, a 125-per-cent increase over the same quarter the previous year and a 12-per-cent increase over the prior quarter. The quarter ended Sept. 30 is traditionally the rainy season in Mexico which can negatively impact production. With the changes that have been made to the operating procedures, the production was not negatively impacted and increased 125 per cent over the previous year rainy season quarter. Production at Parral continues to improve with the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2017, being the fourth consecutive quarter of production growth.
Over the past year the company has focused on improving recovery times and has made several changes. These changes include:
Reducing the stacking height from a single 10-metre high lift to multiple 4-5 meter high lifts;
Increasing the amount of cement being added to the agglomerated material to strengthen it and improve stability and penetration of the cyanide enriched solution;
Increasing the cyanide strength for the first 60 days of irrigation;
Increasing the capacity of the Merrill Crowe;
Increasing the curing period of agglomeration from a few days to two weeks prior to irrigation.
"The changes made at Parral in late 2016 and the first half of 2017 have now taken effect and we expect to see continued increases in production through fiscal 2018," said Brad Langille, chief executive officer.
The above changes have made a significant improvement in the recovery times for the material stacked.
The heap leach pad is divided into 15 pads (or cells) which permit the measurement of recovered metal from each pad which allows the company to track recovery rates for each specific area. It shows the significant improvement in the recovery times for the more recent pads since the above referenced changes were made compared with an average of the older pads. The company began stacking at four to five metre high lifts with pad 11 and continued with pads 12, 13, and 14. The final adjustment for pad 15 was allowing for a two-week cure time which had a positive impact on the recovery times. The older pads continue to recover metal daily and the company has begun reworking material on pads nine and 10 where the agglomeration did not meet GoGold's quality standards. The company expects that the total recovery rates in the prefeasibility study are achievable as GoGold did achieve full expected recovery on the oldest pad for both gold and silver.
Over the past six months there has been a focus on producing quality agglomerated material which resulted in an average of 3,150 tons per day stacked. Now that the recovery times have improved the company is focusing on increasing the quality tons stacked and cost control to drive profitability and production growth going forward.
Robert Harris, PEng, is the qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and is responsible for the technical information of this release.

Zu einem Kauf kam es dennoch nicht. Wie du bereits sagtest war da wenig Verlass was IST und SOLL betrifft.
War im nachklang schon tendenziell eine richtige Einschätzung.

Ich bin u. a. noch in Gogold drin, nur leider ist diese Aktie im Goldsektor kein Einzelfall.
Bis auf ein paar Ausnahmen läuft es nicht so rosig, obwohl wir uns an der 1300er Marke mal rauf und runter bewegen. Sich aktuell die Rosinen raus zu picken ist extrem schwierig und man benötigt schon a bissl Glück.
Sicher lief bei dem Unternehmen sehr viel falsch und die Ziele wurden praktisch nie erreicht.
Allerdings hat das Management jetzt einen starken Partner im Rücken und genügend Cash. Es sollte doch endlich mal in der Lage sein, vernünftige Ergebnisse abzuliefern! Wenn nicht jetzt wann dann?

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 55.850.115 von watchingtheflood am 29.09.17 12:19:14naja warum auch? assets zu verticken auf grundlager derer cashflow generiert wird ist selten ein nachhaltiges geschäftsmodell. sicherlich hat man cashmäßig erstmal bisl luft. nur ob das management - was bisher nicht in der lage war die minen profitabel zu führen - etwas gescheites mit der kohle anzufangen weiß, ist sehr fraglich. ähnlich eines drogensüchtigen. dem gibt man auch nur unguten gewissens geld mit der aussage er würde sich dafür etwas gesundes zu essen kaufen!
