We have produced working device prototypes in our development laboratories at the University of Connecticut to prove the functionality of the POET process. We are now transitioning the device technology into production of a completely integrated platform, utilizing funds provided by NASA as well as from the Company’s general funds and facilities provided by our development partner, BAE. Throughout the transition process, the Company will continue to use its University of Connecticut research and development facility, or other such laboratory facilities, in our effort to produce scalable commercial product prototypes. We currently expect to produce a functional prototype by June 2014, although no assurances can be given that such project will be completed on a timely basis, if at all. These commercial market prototypes are targeted to demonstrate the Company’s position as a sole source provider meeting specific product application needs and are anticipated to be used to enter the market and obtain initial design wins

...what normally happens with an OTC Company when the above scenario happens is that they uplist to the NYSE or NASDAQ . . .

(“UConn”) whereby UConn granted the Company an exclusive license to the intellectual property developed by a consultant and director of the Company, Dr. Geoffrey Taylor, who is also a member of the faculty at UConn. Such a license may reduce the profitability of the Company if and when our products reach market. The Company is obligated to pay up to $1,000,000 per year when revenues reach certain milestones as well as pay an additional 30% of any sublicense revenue received for commercial, royalty bearing sublicenses of the licensed intellectual property to third parties. The Company and UConn are currently renegotiating the terms of this license.

jedenfalls hat POET nie zuvor einen solchen striptease hingelegt und die Details die man dem 20 F entnehmen kann, hatten keine abschreckende Wirkung auf den Markt, im Gegenteil

Mit den Formalitäten wurde bei der SEC ein Antrag für ein US listing an der OTCBB gestellt, wenn ich das richtig verstehe. Ich schließe daraus das dieses das Vorspiel für ein NASDAQ listing ist.
