Einen schlechteren Zeitpunkt für diese Meldung hätte sich Bitfarms nicht suchen können 🙄.
Wollen außerdem mehr in Shareholder Value stecken und die Firma zur No.1 machen…sollten sie mal langsam anfangen damit 😕.

TORONTO, Ontario and BROSSARD, Quebec, March 11, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bitfarms Ltd. (NASDAQ/TSX: BITF), a global vertically integrated Bitcoin mining company, exercised its previously announced purchase option for 28,000 Bitmain T21 miners and also purchased an additional 19,280 Bitmain T21 miners for US$14/TH, 3,888 Bitmain S21 miners and 740 Bitmain S21 hydro miners for US$17.50/TH.

“With Bitcoin achieving new all-time high prices and having already confirmed the tremendous performance from our T21 miners currently running, Bitfarms acted quickly to secure additional T21 and S21 miners before anticipated hardware price increases. These miners are scheduled to be delivered in 2024, we believe they are sufficient to reach 21 EH/s in 2024 without a redeployment of our older miners, which we intend to liquidate to help offset the cost of new miners,” said Geoff Morphy, President and CEO of Bitfarms.

Sollte man jetzt in diese Aktien investieren und hat jemand eine Prognose wie sich die Aktie langfristig verhalten wird ?

Die KE von November wird für den jetzigen Aufbau verwendet. Die 375 M $ werden irgendwann auf dem Markt geworfen, falls es nötig ist.
Bitfarms hat im Vorfeld gute Arbeit geleistet und ist schuldenfrei, kann dadurch weniger in Bedrängnis kommen wie andere die auf dem Markt sind.

in 2023 werden einige Tausend BTC bei 20k verkauft, aber bei 70k hält man daran fest.
Schulden wären auch damit abgebaut worden, brauchen aber jetzt die Kapitalerhöhung über 375Mio.
Und die zusätzlichen Miner wären doch schon eingepriesen gewesen, zumindest der Kommentar hier.
BTC heute auf >72k, wenn nicht jetzt wann dann…nach dem Halving ??? 😬

Moin,

war aber klar das so ein ATM Programm kommt wegen Halving.
Sie werden jetzt ihre geminten Bitcoin nicht mehr verkaufen um Betriebskosten zu decken sondern werden anfangen wie 20220 ihr BTC zu Hoddeln.
Aber dumm sind die nicht es wird keine Aktie unter 6-7 CAD über den Tisch gehen da sie genau wissen nach Halving wir der Kurs stark steigen ist das
selbe Spiel wie 2021.
Schätze heute um die 15 % Abschlag wird sich aber ende der Woche beruhigen.

Cleasnspark hat auch verkauft um neue Miner zu finanzieren und der Kurs ist trozdem gestiegen.
Abwarten das Mangement ist für mich auf alle Fälle seriös und vertrauenswürdig.

Sehe gerade, dass die Kapitalerhöhung erst Freitag nach börsenschluss veröffentlicht wurde. Hoffentlich wirds am Montag nicht allzu übel. Nachdem es aber schon seit Tagen bescheiden läuft, sollte das Abwärtspotenzial begrenzt sein. Mein Wunschkurs: 6 - 8 CAD

Deswegen läuft die Aktie seit Tagen bescheiden. Hoffentlich ist das bald abgehakt und der Kurs geht dahin wo er eigentlich bei dem bitcoin-kurs stehen sollte

Wainwright & Co., LLC (the “Agent”) as agent, pursuant to which the Company established an at-the-market equity program (the “ATM Program”). Pursuant to the ATM Program, the Company may, at its discretion and from time-to-time during the term of the ATM Agreement, sell, through the Agent, such number of common shares of the Company (“Common Shares”) as would result in aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of up to US$375 million. Sales of Common Shares, if any, through the Agent will be made through “at-the-market” issuances, including without limitation, sales made directly on the Nasdaq Stock Market or another trading market for the shares in the United States at the market price prevailing at the time of each sale. No Common Shares will be offered or sold under the ATM Program on the TSX or any other trading market in Canada. The ATM Program may be terminated by either party at any time.
