Zurich, 3 April 2025 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) today announced that it is integrating the Avela Capital team to create a top-tier corporate finance advisory practice in Switzerland. The Swiss A&M corporate finance team, led by Stephan Brücher, Managing Director, will begin offering its services to clients as part of A&M in April 2025.

Together with the Frankfurt-based team led by Alexander Bischoff, who is also joining this month, the new Swiss team strengthens A&M’s corporate finance offering across the DACH region. The Swiss and German teams will be embedded in A&M Corporate Finance EMEA, led by Jonathan Boyers and headquartered in the UK. The combined offering will provide mid-market clients and investors with seamless access to A&M's international reach, deep industry expertise and operational heritage.

The move underlines A&M’s commitment to investing in local expertise while building a unified, cross-border corporate finance platform that delivers practical, results-driven advice across Europe and globally. The launch builds on sustained growth of the firm’s Corporate Finance practice, which has recently made senior hires in France, Germany, India, Ireland, Spain, and throughout the regions of the UK. The practice now counts on more than 110 experts across EMEA and 170 worldwide.

The Swiss team, comprising experienced corporate finance specialists Stephan Brücher (Managing Director), Lutfi Sadiku (Director), Maximilian Schreiner (Senior Associate) and Aaron Conrad (Analyst), has a long track record in corporate finance and brings in-depth expertise across a broad range of M&A transactions. Leveraging A&M’s global platform and leading sector capabilities, they will provide bespoke corporate finance advice to clients in key vertical markets including industrials, business services and technology – and, in due course, financial services and life sciences.
