Punkt.

Eine schöne Zusammenfassung von Floyd, Yahoo:
Let's think about this for a second.
Reviva is an 18-year-old company with $141 million in accumulated deficits. This means they've received $141 million from external investors over nearly two decades. Clinically, the company has delivered exactly what it promised.
The clinical data looks great, and they're just a year away from the finish line, so it's unlikely that long-term investors will let their investments go to waste.
The phase 2 and 3a clinical trials were successful, proving that brilaroxazine works well, twice. The FDA needs ‘confirmatory’ data before bringing the new drug to market, which is standard procedure.
The only risk Reviva faces is a lack of finance, nothing else.
Brilaroxazine is a low-risk option, and it's only a year away from NDA. Money loves low-risk, fast returns, so Reviva has plenty of options.
The company hasn't hired any restructuring or insolvency experts, so there's no crisis. They recently raised $3 million, enough for a month’s runway. If they were in trouble, they would have raised more. Clearly, this funding is just a bridge until they secure a larger round of financing.
It’s also worth mentioning that it only took them 3 weeks from initial talks to closing the $3m financing… as useless as Lax is, I don’t think he will struggle to raise $10, $15 or 20m within two months. There’s an obvious appetite for Reviva.
Anyway, I’m loading up. See you all at $4-5. I look forward to saying “told you so” to those who doubted reviva securing a deal.
Here's a question for the bearish skeptics:
Can you enlighten us stupid people, by providing us with a list of biopharma companies that successfully produced Phase 2 and confirmatory Phase 3a clinical trial data but still went insolvent in the end (despite being a year away from NDA)?
Please exclude companies with failed clinical trials and those with enormous debts on their balance sheets, as those debts were likely the reason for their downfall. Unsustainable debt and loan commitments often cause companies to fail due diligence, and fail to secure financing. Remember, Reviva has no debt on its balance and exceptional clinical trial data. I look forward to hearing your answers (genuinely).

$RVPH Two months ago the board were offered a buyout deal worth $10 per share but they declined it despite the deal representing a 100 - 150% premium. The board believed that their market valuation at the time was not reflective of their track record or future potential. Today the company’s value is 3-4x less than it was two months ago therefore the board are unanimous that a buyout is out of the question.
The board are fully in agreement that they need to raise non-dilutive financing through a partnership deal. If they fail to secure a partner they will NOT raise through the market as it not conducive to raising the level of capital required for their growing clinical portfolio. They may be forced to explore reverting back into a private company as it will grant them access to a broader range of specialty investors and, accordingly, a larger quantum of future funding required to execute their strategy and maximize market value in the interests of all shareholders.
Meinungen dazu?
