Hochwertige, oberflächennahe Entdeckungen bei Thunder (48,6 m 3% Cu) und Lightning Ridge (15,2 m / 2,3% Cu & 15,2 m / 2,1%) waren nicht in der MRE enthalten. Die angegebenen Intervalle sind; 110 m von 2,45% Cu (von der Oberfläche) und 5 6,3 m von 3,07 % Cu (ab 12,2 m).
In den letzten 18 Monaten wäre ein Intervall von 110 M - 2,45% Cu ein Top-6 [hochgradige, > 2%] Ergebnis gewesen, gemessen am Zähler x Grad, unter N. Amerikanische Projekte.
Ich fragte CEO Ullrich, wie schwierig es sei, das Erz von Storm Copper "direkt zu verschiffen",
"Storm Copper ist nur 20 km von der Küste entfernt und liegt in einem flachen Gebiet. Technische Studien sind im Gange, und wir glauben, dass wir eine Straße zur Küste bauen könnten, ohne eine Brücke oder einen Durchlass. Wir schlagen vor, die veredelten Mineralien in Ein-Tonnen-Säcken mit leeren Seeschiffen auf dem Rückweg nach Süden zu transportieren. Es wären keine Hafenanlagen erforderlich, sondern nur Lastkähne von der Küste aus.
Die Investitionskosten für die Verschiffung dürften recht bescheiden sein. Die Ausrüstung ist modular und passt in Seecontainer. Das Management sieht das Projekt als eine Art "bolt-together"-Operation an, bei der kostengünstige temporäre Strukturen anstelle von umfangreichen permanenten Konstruktionen verwendet werden.

Storm Copper Project PEA: Unveiling the Potential of a CopperGiant!
Remember back in November 2023 when the Storm Copper Project's Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) was presented as being 50%completed and was looking at a mid-January release? Well, just like the unearthed even more copper riches, the PEA study's taken a detour on the road to awesome. But fret not, because all signs point to it being imminent!
