den ganzen Tag mit eher wenig Volumen runter bis auf knapp 52 C$, und von da an werden die Umsätze deutlich grüner!!!

ja eh immer das gleiche Spiel, trotzdem ist es immer wieder zum KOTZEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aber wie wird es nach den Zahlen sein, wahrscheinlich nicht wirklich zufriedenstellend, zumindest noch nicht!
Diese V-Bude wird uns noch etwas erhalten bleiben, ich bleibe zwar bei meiner Meinung, aber am liebsten würde ich ja alles verkaufen, wenn nur nicht alles so tolll aussehen würde!!!
Bin echt schon lange dabei, aber so einen Sch... Handel habe ich bei einer recht soliden Aktie noch nicht erlebt, unglaublich!!!!!!

Fragen über Fragen, ja, aber es ist halt eine spannende Geschichte und wenn es schon mal an der deutschen "Vorbörse" 1,6% Plus gibt, na dann dürfen wir ja hoffen und meine 5% Plus für diese Woche sind ja auch noch nicht erledigt!!!

diese Analysten, absoluter Wahnsinn, wenn ich mich recht erinnere, voriges Jahr gab es ja ähnliche Meinungen, ähh, wo sind wir mit dem Kurs gelandet, jaaa genau, +- 0 am Jahresende, gegenüber 2022!!!!

Aber ja, wir waren und sind ja auch noch immer der Meinung, es wird über 100 und noch weiter gehen, nur wann, dass ist die Frage??
Und offizielle Analystenmeinungen sollten eigentlich ja für 12-18 Monate in Aussicht gestellt sein, davon hätten wir aber 2/3 schon "abgesessen"...
Also, bin schon gespannt was nach den Zahlen kommt, wahrsch. eine oder zwei Handvoll Bestätigungen aus der Vergangenheit... naja....

4Q23 preview—recent order gives us further comfort for 4Q23 and beyond

The Desjardins Takeaway

Looking ahead to 2024, we expect BBD—our favourite A&D name—to be a significant
beneficiary of a declining interest rate environment. We forecast leverage falling to 2.6x
at end 2024 and 1.6x at end 2025, which should attract incremental investors. From a
2024 guidance perspective, we expect management to call for revenue of >US$8.0b,
adjusted EBITDA of >US$1,300m, adjusted EBIT of >US$900m, FCF of >US$450m and
>142 bizjet deliveries, sustaining a book-to-bill ratio of 1x.

Highlights

Order in late 4Q further reinforces our forecast that BBD will hit 1x book-to-bill in
2023. With BBD needing only 46 bookings before year-end to hit 1x book-to-bill for
2023, the 12-jet order in 4Q provides a nice chunk (>25%)—which makes us quite
confident that BBD will achieve its target while also reinforcing our thesis that the
Challenger 3500 platform continues to sell well despite its age.

Gulfstream failed to get its new G700 platform certified before year-end, preventing
the company from delivering ~19 aircraft in 2023. While bizjet customers are usually
loyal to specific OEMs, some customers will likely be disappointed, which could be
positive for BBD over time as we could potentially see cancellations at Gulfstream.
Recently issued BBD 8.75% bond now trading at 7.96% as high-yield credit conditions
improve. We expect cash interest to decrease as BBD continues to pay down debt (we
forecast C$500m in debt reduction in 2024) and refinances at lower rates.

Valuation

We increased our target to C$104 (from C$103) as we tweaked our multiple and FCF
estimate and accounted for the change in FX. Our target is based on an EV/EBITDA
multiple of 8.25x (from 8x to account for the passage of time from FY2 to FY1) on our
2024 EBITDA forecast. We have adjusted our exchange rate to C$1.34/US$1 (from C
$1.38). We also took the opportunity to lower our FCF forecast for 2024 to US$481m
(from US$560m) while leaving our 2025 FCF forecast relatively unchanged (US$869m),
as we slightly increased the working capital investment required to execute on the jump
to ~150 deliveries in 2025.

Recommendation

Reiterating our bullish stance. We remain confident in management’s ability to meet
(and potentially exceed) its 2025 targets.

Names We Like Heading Into Q4/23 Earnings Season ( amongst 20 names): We like CPKC (peer-leading EPS growth for 2024); TFII (upside from potential split between TL and LTL/P&C/Logistics); GFL (positive commentary on deleveraging); WCN (positive outlook for 2024 and expectations of a less “noisy” year); CJT (positive update on FCF trajectory); and BBD (we expect Q4 to be a strong FCF period).


Q4/23 Preview

For the quarter, we are forecasting revenue of US$2.84B, up from US$2.66B a year ago and versus consensus of US$2.89B. We expect adj. EBITDA of US$426MM, up from US$352MM a year ago and versus consensus of US$424MM. Key items we are looking for on the call are:

1. Outlook For 2024: We expect BBD to provide its outlook for 2024. Our expectations are that the company will guide to revenue of more than US$8B (we are forecasting US$8.21B and consensus is at US$8.32B), adj. EBIT of more than US$825MM (we are forecasting US$840MM and consensus is US$911MM), and FCF of more than US$500MM (we are forecasting US$513MM and consensus is US$582MM). We also expect the company to guide to ~140 deliveries for 2024 (we are forecasting deliveries of 140 and consensus is 143). We also expect BBD to maintain its 2025 targets.

2. Business Jet Industry Outlook And Comment On Demand Environment: We will be looking for comments on the business jet industry and expect BBD will look to maintain a book-to-bill of 1x. The company exited 2023 on a strong note with a firm order of 12 Challenger 3500 aircraft. We continue to see flight activity track above pre-pandemic levels, backlogs provide a multi-year cushion for the OEMs, and used aircraft inventory still remains low by historical standards.

3. Update On Deleveraging: We expect to hear comments around BBD’s continuing deleveraging plan. Gross debt at the end of Q3/23 was US$5.58B and net leverage came in at 4.1x. BBD continues to target leverage of 2.0x–2.5x by 2025.

4. Update On Supply Chain: We expect BBD to continue to point to a challenging supply chain condition, but one through which it is managing fairly well. That said, we expect this to remain a headwind in 2024, weighing on margins and working capital.

BBD Model Adjustment: We have adjusted our BBD model primarily to reflect supply chain issues and have tweaked our delivery expectations for 2024. We expect BBD to deliver 140 units this year, versus our previous expectation of 145. Our 2025 estimates are generally unchanged and we see the path toward BBD hitting its 2025 targets as significantly de-risked. Our price target moves from $62 to $60 to reflect adjustments to our pro forma net debt assumption. We rate BBD Neutral. Major Variances Versus Consensus (+/- ~5%): We are below consensus on NFI (~27%) and BOS (~6%).

Grunds. auch voll i.O., sonst überhitzt das ganze eh wieder, heute könnte es aber doch wieder 5% nach oben gehen, wie gestern schon gesagt, der Kessel dampft!!!
